Hi fam,
I have two messages today, it's beautiful and wonderful. His Majesty, our Heavenly Father has done it again. Psalm 100 is my praise to the Lord. Before we dive into our meal let's give thanks:
Papa, thank you. Everything you've done is beautiful in our eyes. For those who are waiting to see, hear and touch, let their desires be met. And for those who just believe without seeing, exceed their expectations, Amen.
Let's dine together:
We are in the book of Esther, the lives of the Jews are threatened and Queen Esther goes to the King and intercedes for her people. For those who don't know the full story, it's all began with a man called Mordecai.
He refused to bow to Haman the most powerful official in the empire. This led to a plot to kill him and his people.
In our previous messages before we spoke of our decree to stand firm and fight for what was ours and the Jews during that time also did the same.
Now this is the final turn of events in our favour. I want you to read or listen to this word with faith.
**NLT version**
•Message 1: A promotion in disguise.
Esther 8:2
The King took of his signet ring-which he had taken from Haman-and gave it to Mordecai. And Esther appointed Mordecai to be in charge of Haman's property.
Esther 9:3-4
3 And all the Nobles of the provinces, the highest officers, the governors, and the royal officials helped the Jews for fear of Mordecai.
4 For Mordecai had been promoted in the king's palace, and his fame spread throughout all the provinces as he became more and more powerful.
•Message 2: It's time for celebration.
Esther 9:20-22
20 Mordecai recorded these events and sent letters to the Jews near and far, throughout all the provinces of King Xerxes,
21 calling on them to celebrate an annual festival on these two days.
22 He told them to celebrate these days with feasting and gladness and by giving gifts of food to each other and presents to the poor. This would commemorate a time a time when the Jews gained relief from their enemies, when their sorrow was turned into gladness and their mourning to joy.
Praise the lord for this beautiful victory. This is called double for your trouble, I pray you receive double of the blessing God has for you, Amen.
Let's pray:
Father this love is too much and we receive all you have for us. We love you and say thank you for being our backbone and holding our hearts in this fight. We wouldn't be here without you Papa, we Honour You, Amen.
If you want to get to know Jesus intimately say with me:
Dear Jesus, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Saviour, I repent of my sins, I believe you died on the cross to reconcile me back to God, I receive your love and new life, Amen.
Celebrate and have fun. A knew door is opened.
